My Journey

Welcome to Pnoi Yoga!
My name is Georgia and I started practicing Yoga in my twenties. I have always been interested in spirituality, dynamic meditation, and using the body as a vessel to direct the flow of prana.
I completed my Yoga Teacher Training (300 hours) at the Yoga Satsanga Ashram in Wales, UK, in October 2020. Under the auspice and guidance of the greatly experienced teachers Yogachariya Jnandev & Yogacharini Deepika, I undertook an intensive residential Yoga teacher training course in Sanatan Yoga, a classical study of Hatha, Jnana and Raja Yoga. This style of yoga is inspired by the Holistic Rishiculture Ashtanga Yoga developed in India.
I deliver Yoga sessions which enhance athletic performance, positive attitude and mental stamina. I also offer Restorative Yoga for sports injuries and chronic health conditions. In addition, I deliver classes for community groups and busy work environments, to help combat stress, anxiety and other mental health challenges.
I'm a qualified Basketball Coach and I run Manchester Lynx Women's Basketball Club. I also love cycling, running, hiking, climbing and the occasional football game.
I am a member of the Yoga Alliance Professionals teacher network and Basketball England.

Get in touchMy classes will help you feel elevated, recharged, and happy! We practice classical Hatha Yoga asana, kriyas, pranayama breath work and relaxation techniques. My endeavour is to share my passion and knowledge of Yoga and help students reach their full potential and find harmony within themselves.I also deliver tailored one-to-one and small group sessions via Messenger Rooms and Microsoft Teams.

"Having not practiced Hatha Yoga & Raja Meditation for a number of years, I discovered Georgia's Pnoi Yoga class and decided to give it a go. This decision was based upon my post Covid recovery whereby, having been seriously ill with the Coronavirus and Pneumonia, was placed in an induced coma & spent two weeks on a ventilator.
I have been attending weekly one-to-one Yoga sessions (remotely) for four months now & have noticed the benefits to my holistic health needs & emotional well-being.
Georgia has clearly put a lot of thought & careful consideration into my requirements & planned a bespoke session with this in mind, i.e. the main focus being my breathing techniques to strengthen my lungs, which has impacted my ability to breath more productively. As a result, my health consultants do not feel the need to put me on prescribed medication.
Furthermore, my whole body has strengthened, gaining more flexibility & building upon my muscle memory, which is beneficial for my overall movement.
I am confident that Georgia will make any attendee feel comfortable, accepted & safe. Given how unfit I was, Georgia did not judge or overwhelm my ability to undertake the sessions. Georgia is very much attuned to what her clients can or cannot do.
